Runway Park at GMU

Listed as one of the number four things best things to do in Greenville SC by US News Travel section. You can watch planes take off and land right in front of you on the busiest general aviation airport in the state of South Carolina. Play on aviation themed equipment, sit in the amphitheater, learn about aviation on informational STEM signs, or walk around the park on a 787 foot long walkway. You can also book a large 80 seat or 20 seat picnic pavilion for parties or events. Book a field trip for groups of 15 or larger to learn about aviation and to sit in a Cessna 152 plane for a photo op. Runway Park was built for the community with funds raised by the community. All proceeds go back to the maintenance and improvements for the park. There is currently fundraising for new equipment.
